A 92-year-old female client in West LA (90024) is seeking a female caregiver to assist her Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 7 PM, and on alternating Sundays. The client, weighing approximately 140 lbs and standing 5’4”, suffers from severe nerve pain in her jaw, neck, and head, restless leg syndrome, arthritis, mobility issues, and is a fall risk. A former athlete who loved yoga, she remains passionate about news, sports, and the Dodgers.

The caregiver must be skilled in cooking healthy, high-protein meals, providing personal care (sponge bathing, toileting, partial transferring), light housekeeping, laundry, and possibly shopping/errands. The home has many stairs, used only when leaving the house, and the caregiver must be proficient in assistive lift transfer techniques.

The caregiver should have at least 5 years of experience, good body mechanics, and be able to physically assist with all ADLs. There is a well-established routine with written instructions to help acclimate quickly. The client’s daughter lives and works at home and can assist when needed. The client prefers to interview caregivers via Zoom before starting care.
