We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and reliable caregiver to support a wonderful couple living in Malibu. The caregiver will be primarily assisting one member of the couple who has dementia and limited verbal skills. Duties include laundry, personal care assistance, shopping, housekeeping, coordination and accompaniment to doctor appointments, meaningful engagement, and meal preparation/cleanup.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide compassionate care and assistance to an elderly woman with dementia, ensuring her safety, comfort, and well-being.
Assist with daily personal tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Conduct laundry duties and maintain an organized, clean living environment.
Plan, prepare, and clean up after meals, ensuring the nutritional needs are met.
Schedule and accompany to doctor appointments, ensuring clear communication with healthcare professionals.
Engage in meaningful activities and conversation to enhance mental stimulation.
Carry out grocery shopping and other errands as needed.
Qualifications:
At least 2 years of caregiving experience
Active Home Care Aide (HCA) registration
Excellent verbal communication skills, empathy, and the ability to listen are essential.
Demonstrated patience, reliability, and a caring nature.
Ability to work independently and make important decisions.
Knowledge of dementia care practices and standards is a plus.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift or assist patients as needed.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
